Sensei Mark Wood - 6th Dan Ju-Jitsu. Holds Dan grades in Karate and Kickboxing.  Thirty four years of training in the Martial Arts inclusive of Judo, Karate, Ju-Jitsu, Kickboxing and Kobudo. Sensei Mark Wood 6th Dan Ju-Jitsu Cobra Martial Arts Association, 5th Dan Karate Jitsu with Self-Defence Federation, 4th Dan with the British Freestyle Karate and Kickboxing Organisation, 3rd Dan Ju-Jitsu and Weapons Instructor with the British Ju-Jitsu Association, 3rd Dan Black Belt Ju-Jitsu (United Nations of Ju-Jitsu), 2nd Dan Ju-Jitsu with the World Ju-Jitsu Federation. Level 2 Graded Coach.

Studied Judo for five years, started at the age of ten. Trained under the North West Area Coach, 5th Dan Sensei Dennis Goggins. Started training in Ju-Jitsu at the age of sixteen with the World Ju-Jitsu Federation. Trained under Sensei Mark Kemp. Trained in Shukokai Karate for five years under the watchful eye of 5th Dan Sensei Damien McLoughlin.  Personal Student of 7th Degree Black Belt Master James Pape, Founder Member of the Bushido Ju-Jitsu Academy.

Fully Insured and First Aid Qualified.  I teach three times a week at Adamson Industrial Estate, Croft Street, Hyde, Cheshire.  At present I have about 60 Students, the Highest grade being 3rd Dan.  All Students train hard and are progressing well.  All I ask of my Students is to show respect to the Art and observe the correct etiquette when training.
